Backpacking Equipment
Backpacking Equipment
Please pack the following items in your hike backpack (unless otherwise noted). Do not plan on using these items in camp as you will not have access to your hiking backpack then. You will be hiking with these items on your back for two days so pack the minimum amount of required gear and nothing else. In backpacking, gear weight is very important. Take the smallest and lightest items possible. Pack loose items in plastic Ziploc bags and bundle clothes by rolling and securing with rubber bands. If you do not have the following items, contact your Ward Camp Specialist to help you borrow items from your ward.
